Does working with a broker cost me more?
No — never. Brokers are compensated directly by insurance carriers. Your premium is the same whether you go through us or directly to the carrier. We're completely free to you.
Can I lose money in an IUL?
Your cash value cannot go negative due to market performance — there's a 0% floor guarantee. You may have policy fees, but market losses alone cannot reduce your principal below zero.
I already have insurance through work. Do I need more?
Employer coverage typically ends when you leave the job and rarely covers everything. An independent policy travels with you and provides long-term security regardless of employment.
How long does it take to get coverage?
Health coverage can begin within days. Life insurance typically takes 26 weeks depending on underwriting. Some simplified issue products can be approved same-day.
What's the difference between IUL and a 401k?
Both build retirement savings — but IUL has no contribution limits, no Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) at 72, access is tax-free via loans and it includes a death benefit. They can work together.
What if I have pre-existing conditions?
ACA health plans cannot deny you or charge more for pre-existing conditions. For life insurance, it depends on the condition — we shop across carriers to find who looks most favorably on your situation.
When should I start an IUL policy?
The earlier the better — younger clients get lower premiums and more time for cash value to grow. However, IUL works at any age for the right client. Schedule a consultation and we'll run the numbers for you.
